Geetika, Nisha and Yaamini ran in the Bay to Breakers this year and met Jerry Rice!! I’m pretty jealous. There are only a few famous people that I have a strong desire to actually meet, but the two that top the short list are Jerry Rice and Steve Young.

Unfortunately the autograph line was closed off already, but they did get a great picture with him.

I almost got a picture with Jerry last month. Ok not quite, but I did take a picture of a guy wearing a geeked out version of a Jerry Rice jersey. Geeky things like this happen a lot in Seattle. I’m glad I live in a city where people happily combine their interests in football and network protocols : )
